Muslim community launches food delivery service

Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens participated in the launch on April 10, 2020, of a volunteer food hamper delivery service organized by the Windsor Islamic Association. The not-for profit service matches anyone in the community, regardless of faith, neighbourhood or income with delivery of food during the pandemic. Calls and orders are collected for two to three days and then volunteers are dispatched from a central point to each make their separate deliveries.
